I am a fourth year Mechatronics student at the University of Waterloo and an aspiring product designer who recently designed at Shopify and Konrad Group. Driven by my passion for technology and art, I found myself deeply obsessed in the field of UI/UX after my first design internship during first year. Since then, I have set out to becoming the best designer I can be by self-learning and actively participating in design communities.
Towards the team, I aim to be as direct and straightforward as possible. My approach to designing is fast paced and practical. I’ll move thoughtfully, and efficiently in the most appropriate direction, and rework it until we both agree it looks and feels right, and will perform as intended.

After hours, I volunteer my time growing and guiding UW’s design community. I’ve helped to plan events, workshops, mentorship, and designathons for young passionate designers.
I have loved drawing ever since a kid. As I get older, sketching started to become my main method to release stress and relax. Focusing on my pen and paper brings peace to my mind and makes me feel refreshed. Looking at the results of sketches are also very satisfying! :)

I got into cooking when I was only 8, and I’ve always helped my parents cook since then. Especially after the quarantine started, the desire for good food has pushed my creativity in cooking even further. I have recreated many delicious dishes such as sushi, bibimbap, thai curry, pho, omurice and many more!
After building my first computer, I can now finally call myself a pc gamer. My preference for video games ranges widely: I enjoy competitive games such as Valorant and League; I also like RPG’s such as Monster Hunter and Nioh2, although those can be very difficult for me at times; and I also love story telling games such as the Little Nightmares series, Stanley’s Parable, A Short Hike, and What remains of Edith Finch.
